HAPPY CANADA DAY! | 07.01.07

Today, Canada turns 140! Happy Canada Day!!
Growing up in Ottawa, this was my favorite day to go downtown in the Nations Capital, and celebrate on Parliament Hill with my friends and thousands of other people under the fabulous fireworks display.

I commute a lot between L.A. and various places in the US and Europe, but I always know where my roots are! Happy Birthday Canada!

p.s. Also a big shout out to my friends Katrina and Erin who celebrates their birthdays and Happy 1 year anniversary to Edwin and Cheryl, and Happy 7th Anniversary to my past bride and groom Tim and Alison. xoxo

HOT CHILD in the CITY - OTTAWA, ON

With the humidex reading at 38 - my god daughter, Katrina, pulled me out of the air conditioned house and reminded me again about the value of balance. All work and no play...just isn't right.




We took a half hour swim break before lunch :) - then back to editing it was!

The overwhelming and wonderful response I have gotten from my new found love, FACEBOOK from old high school and elementary friends as well, families back east in Ottawa where I grew up has been wonderful. I have had several emails asking me to come or wishing I was there to photograph their families. boom..done...Here I come (yes, yes - Whiskey is coming too)!

HOME for the HOLIDAYS - 12.23.06

Today I spent the day with my best friend of 20 years, Bia, and her family. Her daughter Katrina, (my goddaughter) played with her dog Bella, and Bia snuggled up cozy with her son Nicholas. Merry Christmas!!!!!
