U2-3D - Go see it NOW!!!!

to quote the REPLACEMENTS:
You be me for a while, and I'll be you!!!!

For over 15 years now, I have had people say: "I'll be your assistant for (blah blah blah) rockshow?!" doesn't matter what show, I always seem have a volunteer to carry my gear! The only problem is I can never get anyone else in!

well.... tonight I went to see U2-3D - holy cow.... This is probably the closest you will get to see the blessed life I have had for the past 15 years working up with ROLLING STONE and other magazines - up close and personal with rockstars. I however, LOVED watching the show, without seeing it through my lens for once! wow! I was chair dancing and singing through the whole show, I forgot it was a movie!!!

I woke up this morning @ 4am and flew to Los Angeles to shoot PENSIVE, a punk band from San Diego, had an AMAZING photoshoot in downtown LA, then took the last flight out to get ready for my destination Whistler wedding tomorrow.

TORONTO - 06.07.07 - 06.10.07

What a whirlwind!!! North by North East was a BLAST this weekend. Due to poor cell service and dodgy internet... a big sorry to those I didn't get to catch up with.


This weekend was a SUNNY fun filled music weekend, some shopping at my favorite stores, meeting LOTS of new friends and seeing lots of great bands! Here are a few highlight snaps of the weekend. I shot so much and saw so much that I am only posting a few before my flight back to Ottawa.

NEW MUSIC WEST music festival - 05.03-05.05

What a great music filled weekend this was!
My partner in crime, Dave Porter (Grifter, Universal, Maple Music) flew in from Toronto to once again, bar crawl all over Vancouver in search of new talent. Some of the highlights for me this weekend were Ben Sigston, Adrian Glynn and Italian Edition. Another Cinco de Mayo has come and gone!
