www.hubbardphotography.com | Lunar Eclipse
A total lunar eclipse occurs when the full moon passes into Earth's shadow and is blocked from the sun's rays that normally illuminate it. During an eclipse, the sun, Earth and moon line up, leaving a darkened moon visible to observers on the night side of the planet.
The moon doesn't go black because indirect sunlight still reaches it after passing through the Earth's atmosphere.
Last night's total eclipse phase lasted nearly an hour. Earth's shadow began to blot out the moon around 10 p.m
Here are some photos I took from my roof.
cool!!!

U2-3D - Go see it NOW!!!!
to quote the REPLACEMENTS:
You be me for a while, and I'll be you!!!!
For over 15 years now, I have had people say: "I'll be your assistant for (blah blah blah) rockshow?!" doesn't matter what show, I always seem have a volunteer to carry my gear! The only problem is I can never get anyone else in!
well.... tonight I went to see U2-3D - holy cow.... This is probably the closest you will get to see the blessed life I have had for the past 15 years working up with ROLLING STONE and other magazines - up close and personal with rockstars. I however, LOVED watching the show, without seeing it through my lens for once! wow! I was chair dancing and singing through the whole show, I forgot it was a movie!!!
I have been so lucky to photograph U2, 6 times, here is a taste of some of my pics I grabbed from the Rolling Stone website.
For more rocknroll photos please check out my rocknroll website Angelahubbard.com!

NEW YORK : NELSON BLUE
I do have the best brides ever!!!!
I know I say that often, but honestly - it's true!
I believe the universe brings people together in life - and I have been blessed with the best people and couples!!
As you can see from my recent posts, I have just come from visiting MaryEllen's home in Panama, and today I got an email from my bride Michelle about her new restaurant website NELSON BLUE.
When I went to New York in November, I went to visit her and her new bar. Nelson Blue is New Yorks very first authentic New Zealand Bar and Grill and it's inspired by their very own Kiwi, Pauli Morgan. It's located just a couple blocks from the South Street Seaport.
The food is AMAZING, as is the staff. Michelle is so cute she posted a photo of me and my friend V on her site under friends of Nelson Blue!
When in New York, please pop round to her tell her I sent you and give her a big hug for me. You will love this girl!!!
Thanks Lady - miss you!!! xox

Panama: TRASH the DRESS session
The latest trend in wedding photography you ask?!
Trashing the wedding dress after the wedding, of course!
As seen in People Magazine, there is a complete site to "Trashing the Dress" click here to see it
About two miles from the center of Panama City are found the ruins of the first capital, known as Old Panama or Panama La Vieja, founded in 1519. Fragments of walls and arches stand in an open park, recalling the splendor of the Spaniard's first settlement on the Pacific Ocean. From here, expeditions were mounted to conquer the Inca Empire of South America. All of the wealth from Peru, Chile and California flowed to Spain through Old Panama Not surprisingly, the enormous quantities of gold attracted pirates like sharks to Panama's waters. When Henry Morgan looted the city in 1671, Panama's governor ordered the powder magazine burned and the whole city went up in flames. The capital was moved two miles to the west, and present-day Panama City was founded in 1673.
Since Mary Ellen got married in Canada and not Panama like they had thought - I LOVED the idea of going here to take some photos.
GORGEOUS!!!!
