Today I found out my old roommate and very good friend John passed away. I don't know how or when, I just got a message on my phone. wow! death. I (knock on wood) have never had anyone in my life pass.... wow and boy - wow! it hits hard!
I have been so blessed with happy occasions, that I forget sometimes, it's not so fun.
I'm going to be out of the office for a little bit, still available on email, returning Feb 1, 2008


He was a great man, friend, with lots of love and laughs to give to everyone. I wish you would have met him. you'd have loved him!
he made me laugh like no other and was the most charming blok I had ever met. was love at first sight with anyone who met him.
Johnny Don, Donno, man - I love ya mate! Uru! and God Bless. xo

my friend/realtor had a girls night out bash tonight....had great fun
met new friends
and great food...

1 stop shopping for WEDdings on Main Street, Vancouver!

If you pick up this weeks Georgia Straight, on page 22 - you will notice two things,
1.my ad above, and 2. the HUGE article on a new wedding dress store on Main Street called WED! last night was the grand opening and any excuse I can get to pop into this GORGEOUS store (and have champagne) is good enough for me!

I didn't stay long because of other functions, I wanted to attend an art opening at my favorite flowers shop (also on Main Street) the Flower Factory... thanks goodness all this fun is stumbling distance from mi casa on Main too :) and I sadly missed the Agent Provocateur opening - the just opened on the wrong dang street!!!

Main Street - one stop bridal shopping! I LOVE IT and you will too :)

I'm so blessed - so far since I've posted...
I'm booked for shoots in Panama, Cuba, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, New Orleans, Ottawa, Whistler and today I booked a gorgeous wedding in FERNIE! I'm so out of my comfort zone of LA, but excited at the new lands to explore and document!

4-10. all these have come true (so far) as well - ok maybe not the guitar hero part YET!!!!
I am trying to educate my clients more in you pay for what you get. ask photographers what you really get. What kind of gear they use to shoot the most important day of your life! Check what YOUR priorities are for your big day and make them top on your list.

and now for #2. health and workout

My friend (and massage therapist to the stars) Holli, and I have been going to Bikram yoga, for health and peace of mind.
I am LOVING it.
Feeling great, losing weight and have so much more energy.

I am also reading a book I gave to several of my friends at Xmas.
It's called eat,pray,love. I HIGHLY recommend this as well.

SCAM @ WEDDING FAIR in Vancouver - WARNING!!!!

a girl i know had this happen to her from the Wedding Fair in Vancouver last week!

An Exhibitor who displayed at Wedding under the name of Paradise Travel and is marketing themselves under the name “Imperial Majesty Cruise Lines” has sent the information you gave them to a telemarketing company who in turns calls everyone who entered. If you entered the draw at their booth you probably will get a call.

Paradise Travel did give away two cruises to the Bahamas (the winners have already been notified). The telemarketers have been calling everyone and telling them they have won a free cruise and then asking for something like $600 to be put on your credit card. They also have you pay $179 each for a boarding fee. This is not a free trip.
It is some sort of time-share sale.

If your credit card was charged and you want a refund please call Sharon Pincous at 1-917-699-6644. She has refunded all attendees that have asked for one. She has also informed us they will not be calling anyone else.

Our very own Katherine Heigl inspired winter wonderland wedding took place this afternoon with Candice and Kevin, up on Grouse Mountain in beautiful Vancouver, BC.

WHISKEY is OBSESSED with this new toy
I brought him this toy from the pet store, and now, I might as well throw out all his others, because this is all he wants. He keeps hiding it, finding it, squeeking it and burring it and making me throw it and then hides it again. I'm happy that he loves it, but it's taking time away from me rocking out on guitar hero ;) (joking)
Seriously, I have never seen him like this with another toy... kinda weird.
